Mileage Club
This fall we will once again have Mileage Club on Wednesdays during lunch recess for all grades! We will need volunteers supervising the course (sidewalk around the field to the east of the school) and volunteers tracking kids/class laps – as there are rewards for classes/grades with the most laps (ex. eat outside during lunch, winner of the Golden Shoe, etc.).
Mileage Club is an optional activity for the students. If they choose to participate they can walk, jog, skip, hop, run – whatever they choose!
We need volunteers for 2 shifts:
10:30am-12:00pm (Kinder – 3rd Grade Recess)
12:00pm – 1:15pm (4th – 6th Grade Recess)
Would you like to get some steps/laps in yourself? Feel free to come walk or jog a lap with your child’s class. Any adult laps tracked count 5x for that class:)
