Harvest Festival Parade (meet @ 57th & Balsam at 8:30am)

UPDATE: West Woods Elementary is lining up on 57th between Balsam and Brentwood Streets … see you there by 8:30!!!

Dear West Woods Families,

SAVE THE DATE!  The West Woods Wolves will be participating in the Arvada Harvest Parade on Saturday, September 9 and we’d like all of you to join us! It’s a fun morning and a great opportunity to show our school spirit.

Below is a diagram of the parade route.  WWE representatives will get to our staging area and hold our spot.  We ask that all participants meet us in our spot by 8:30 am.  The parade starts at 9:00 am and will finish at (roughly) 10:30 am.

We will have candy to throw, pom poms to shake, and we ask that you wear any WWE gear (field day shirt, running club shirt, school spirit wear, or school colors).  You are allowed to walk, pull your kids in a wagon, or ride a scooter (helmets REQUIRED).  No bicycles, please.

We don’t know our exact staging area yet; we will get that info to you as soon as parade organizers let us know.

Candy Donations Requested

The West Woods Elementary Student Council is organizing participation in the Annual Arvada Harvest Parade taking place on September 9th!  The Student Council is requesting donations in the form of candy to be distributed along the parade route.  Non melting candy donations like Tootsie Rolls, Jolly Ranchers and Dum Dums are preferred.  It would be most helpful if students could place their donations in the Candy Collection Container located outside of the main office.  All donations must be received by Wednesday, September 6th!  Thank you for your support.
